Michael Tan is the Senior Partner, Strategy and Transformation Lead of NCS Group, where he leads group strategy and drives large scale transformation to position the company for the AI era. He works at the intersection of strategy and execution, shaping direction while rewiring operating models, capabilities, and governance to deliver measurable outcomes. His focus includes building distinctive domain strengths and digital resilience in an AI-first world.
In his role as Chief Sustainability Officer of NCS Group, Mike leads the Group’s sustainability agenda across businesses and geographies. He oversees the design and execution of initiatives that embed environmental and social responsibility into NCS’s operations and growth strategy, ensuring alignment with the Group’s sustainability framework and long term ambitions.
Before joining NCS, Mike was a Managing Director & Partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he led the Public Sector Practice in Southeast Asia and co-founded BCG’s Climate and Sustainability Hub for Innovation in Asia. He began his career at the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), supporting national economic development through business growth and foreign investment.
Michael holds a Master of Science in Management Science & Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, both from Stanford University.
