NCS’s CEO Sam Liew Honoured as SCS Tech Leader of the Year 2026
Recognised for leadership in driving technology-led transformation and advancing inclusive, AI-led digital future
Singapore, 11 May 2026 - NCS today announced that its Chief Executive Officer, Sam Liew, has received the Singapore Computer Society (SCS) Tech Leader of the Year Award. The award, announced on 8 May, recognises leaders on the forefront of innovation who have contributed significantly beyond their immediate business interests.

Technology must create opportunity for everyone, and I'm committed to strengthening Singapore's tech leadership by growing skills and talent, supporting an inclusive digital future, and helping organisations drive AI-led transformation,” said Sam Liew, CEO, NCS.
With extensive experience across technology and consulting, Sam is a strong champion of Singapore's tech community, driving initiatives that uplift and empower students, youths, and professionals across the digital ecosystem.
As CEO of NCS, Sam is leading the company's focus on driving AI-led transformation both at NCS and for its clients. He has also driven skills and talent development programmes at NCS and in the industry, and advocates skills-first hiring through programmes such as the Infocomm Media Development Authority TeSA for ITE and Polytechnics (IMDA TIP) Alliance and TIP Alliance+, expanding opportunities for Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and polytechnic graduates as well as new graduates of universities.
Sam also contributes to nurturing the next generation of tech professionals through Board roles with educational institutions including Institute of Technical Education (ITE), Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and Singapore Management University (SMU).
