Job Description

A startup embedded inside one of Singapore's largest tech companies. You'll work in a small, fast-moving AI-native team under the Chief AI Officer — building and shipping AI-powered MVPs and POCs for NCS clients.

Every tool at your disposal. Generative AI, AI coding agents, automation platforms, AI design tools — you pick what works and you ship. The measure of success is what you deliver, not how you got there.

Direct exposure. You'll work alongside senior leaders and engineers in real client contexts — not a sandbox, not a demo environment.

This internship gives you a mission — with AI as your entire crew. You won’t just be supporting a team; you’ll be shipping real products for real clients, leveraging AI across design, engineering, and research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take a client problem from brief to working prototype — using AI to handle the heavy lifting across design, code, research, and documentation.

• Experiment aggressively with emerging AI tools and frameworks to find the fastest path from idea to deployed solution.

• Engage directly with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into AI-enabled products — not slide decks.

• Participate in fast-paced design sprints and agile cycles where the output is always something tangible.

• Document and share what works — your learnings shape how the rest of NCS adopts AI.

• You prefer hands-on contribution over observation — and are ready to make an impact from week one.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Curiosity that outpaces your current skill level — you figure things out quickly because you’re driven to experiment and explore.
• Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or similar — enough to iterate on AI-generated code and make it work in real-world scenarios.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI tools — beyond just ChatGPT, you’ve explored the broader ecosystem of generative AI, automation, and agentic tools.
• Strong communication skills — you can break down messy problems clearly and know when to ask the right questions.
• A bias toward action — you’d rather ship something imperfect and improve it than wait for perfect conditions.
