Job Description

What will you do?

• Ensure accurate and timely month-end closing and revenue recognition that includes review and adjust project financial to conform with accounting standards/practices to ensure NCS's tight reporting timeline for projects is met.

• Provide financial insights and reporting to enable strategic decisions (e.g., attend and provide financial analysis support for Watchlist/BRC project analysis).

• Collaborate with project teams to monitor budgets, forecasts, financial health and variances at the project financial level.  This includes the unbilled revenue monitoring.

• Address critical capability gaps in financial governance and operational efficiency.

• Attend to audit queries for the portfolio under his/her care ensuring audit queries is properly addressed.

• Prepare routine / adhoc management reporting, project financial analysis requests. 

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate should possess:

• Diploma in Accounting / Finance or equivalent. 

• At least 2 years of relevant working experience. 

• Good working knowledge of Finance operations and some financial (P&L) analysis experience. 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Pivot Table analysis, Excel-Macro, Word, PowerPoint).

• Good working knowledge of SAP ERP system. 

• Organized, detailed, proactive and self-motivated. 

• Independent and strong team player with ability to build rapport and collaborative working relationships with all levels of stakeholders.

• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal). 

• Ability to commence work immediately / within short notice will be an added advantage.
