Job Description

As a Finance Associate Intern at NCS, you will gain practical exposure to project finance, revenue accounting, and finance systems within a large enterprise environment. You’ll work with finance and IT stakeholders on real cases, building both analytical and system-related skills.

This role is suitable for students who enjoy working with numbers, understanding business performance, and improving processes through data and systems.

You will support a range of finance initiatives that contribute to accurate reporting and operational improvements.

Your work may include:

• Analysing and troubleshooting financial anomalies related to project financials
• Supporting revenue accounting activities and documenting real-case scenarios
• Assisting in the development of internal training materials based on practical finance cases
• Contributing to dashboard, automation, and system enhancement initiatives, including UAT testing

What you will learn

• Financial analysis skills through hands-on review and investigation of project financials
• Practical understanding of revenue accounting treatments
• How finance teams work with IT to troubleshoot system issues and implement enhancements
• Exposure to finance dashboards, automation, and UAT processes
• Professional communication with multiple stakeholders across finance and technology teams

Your responsibilities

• Review project financial data and investigate variances or anomalies
• Support revenue accounting documentation and training material development
• Assist with system enhancement requests and UAT activities
• Work with IT and finance stakeholders to track and resolve issues
• Prepare basic reports and analysis using Excel

Qualifications

• Undergraduate pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related discipline
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with different stakeholders
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks
