We’re searching for a Senior Service Delivery Manager (SMO) to be part of our diverse team of talent here at NCS!

Overview

You will be part of a team of highly motivated individuals in the IT Governance Team, managing the development and maintenance of IT systems on behalf of a key NCS client. You should have proven track records in Stakeholder Management, IT Service Management, IT Configuration Management, Incident Management, IT Security Management, and IT Security Compliance & QA Management.

What will you do?

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report on SLA/KPI performance of in-scope systems to the client
  • Liaise and work directly with client stakeholders, Operations Managers, and Contractors for project delivery and maintenance support
  • Monitor and update client on operational or compliance matters and propose resolutions
  • Provide monthly summary reports on system health, risks, and change or problem status
  • Conduct and participate in management update meetings including CCC, Operations, Service Review, Audit, and Management Meetings
  • Review reports from Operations & Support (O&S) project teams within the system family
  • Support O&S project teams during Audit, DR/BCP, and Backup & Recovery exercises
  • Propose continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen IT governance, compliance, and efficiency
  • Prepare and submit annual Management Plans to the client
  • Review IT asset inventory and oversee system obsolescence
  • Lead investigation and resolution of incidents and conduct root cause analysis
  • Schedule and verify system security scans and vulnerability rectifications
  • Conduct weekly security reviews on system access and report anomalies
  • Track, mitigate, and deploy security patches according to timelines
  • Ensure systems comply with applicable standards, policies, and guidelines
  • Work with stakeholders during audits to provide responses and evidence
  • Prepare rectification plans and seek waivers when justifiable

Qualifications


The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • More than 5 years of IT project management experience and at least 10 years of IT experience
  • Experience in IT business analysis techniques
  • Self-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude
  • Creative with strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and persuasive skills
  • Ability to lead, develop, and maintain respectful and trusting relationships
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
